Joji‘s Ballads 1 album debuts at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, Billboard reports. The singer-songwriter’s first full-length album moved 57,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Nov. 1, according to Nielsen Music. Ballads 1, which was also released through 88Rising/12Tone, also debuted No. 3 on the Billboard 200.

Previously Joji, who initially became famous as a YouTube personality, reached No. 28 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart with his In Tongues EP in November 2017. Ballads 1 is led by the popular single “Slow Dancing in the Dark,” which has earned over 45 million on-demand streams in the U.S. since its Sept. 12 release.

Back in March, we spent a day with Joji while he went shopping in IKEA to discuss his leap into music.
