China’s Invictus Gaming beat Europe’s Fnatic in a 3-0 sweep at the 2018 League of Legends World Championship finals on Saturday, at the Munhak Stadium in Incheon, South Korea.

The finals MVP went to Invictus jungler Gao “Ning” Zhen-Ning for his steady dominance, resulting in 13 kills, 29 assists and only 3 deaths. Many also commended mid laner Song “Rookie” Eui-Jin’s performance, while sub top laner Lee “Duke” Hoseong took home his second World Championship title, after his first one with SK Telecom T1 in 2016.

Invictus Gaming was the second seed from the LPL, giving the region its first Worlds title and first appearance in the Finals since 2014. The Invictus championship also marks the end of a dramatic LoL season, which saw European and North American teams knock down many of the China and Korea teams expected to lead the tournament.
